Eku Edewor

Eku Edewor is an actress, television personality and host of the award-winning entertainment show, 53 Extra – which showcases the latest in music, film, fashion and red carpet events across the African continent. Whether gracing the covers of magazines, interviewing stars or performing on screen, Eku has established herself firmly in the African entertainment industry as a talent on the rise.

Born Georgina Chloe Eku Edewor-Thorley in London, England to Nigerian and British parents, Eku was raised between London and Nigeria – an experience that granted her the privilege of being exposed to two vastly different environments.
From a very young age, Eku fostered an appreciation for the arts and landed her first part in a school play when she was only seven years old.

In 2006, Eku was cast as a contestant on the hit reality show, Britain’s Next Top Model and then went on to sign a deal as the face of 53 Extra in 2010; thus marking the start of her career in front of the camera. Eku has since gone on to build an
extensive résumé including appearing in her first major film role, Flower Girl (2012) - which garnered several awards, and has been screened worldwide. She also executive produced and performed in the theatre production, Closer in 2013. Some
of Eku’s small screen credits include appearing on Big Brother Africa All Stars, hosting the 2013 Miss Nigeria competition, the Elite Model Look Nigeria competitions in 2010 and 2011, co-hosting with IK Osakiaduwa and landing an endorsement deal with Martini Rosé in which she starred in the brand’s first ever television commercial shot in Nigeria. In addition to entertaining audiences every week on 53 Extra, Eku currently hosts PEPSI’s Top Ten Music Countdown and Ndani TV’s upcoming fashion reality show, The Cut.

Eku is gearing up to host another season of PEPSI’s Top Ten Music Countdown in Nigeria and will appear on the U.K. television series The Rules to Making Money as well as host the 2014 Channel O Africa Music Video Awards in South Africa.
Her latest film role, When Love Comes Around just wrapped in Ghana.

Eku is a graduate of English and Theatre from the University of Warwick and trained as an actress at the New York Film Academy.

She currently divides her time between Lagos, London and New York.

Solomon Enweremadu

Solomon has been involved in script writing and acting since the age of 8 when he played as 'Tiny Fred' (Ebenezer Scroog's Nephew)in the famous Charles Dickens Christmas play 'A Christmas Carol' at the American International School, Hampstead, London.UK. He has written several playlets and short films used in various school dramas and short film productions since then.

Solomon's passion for script writing and acting led him back to the UK after bagging a first degree in Botany and Microbiology at the University Of Jos, Jos, Nigeria and feeling so unfulfilled, he enrolled at the North Herts College of Arts Campus of Middlesex University, London, UK to study 'Drama and Film Directing'.

Here he learnt a lot about the 'Art' of storytelling (Script writing) and true interpretation of character(Acting). He also produced his first short film as a co-producer of the movie 'Life Changes' alongside producer Christina Butts. During this period he also produced several music videos. He later went on to establish a media outfit called 'Word Eagle Media', where he currently serves as the CEO.

Solomon returned to Nigeria on invitation to work on some film and various media projects. He is currently working as the script editor for the project 'Entreat' by Michael Asuelime of BP Vision.
Solomon likes watching movies, writing, reading and rapping.

Michael Asuelime

Michael Asuelime is the creative Director and Chief Executive Officer of BP Vision Ltd. He is a prolific playwright and director with a great passion for excellence and dynamism. He has spent close to 20 years in the entertainment industry, actively involved in different aspects of it. He has written, produced and directed many plays which have been reported as excellent by critics and viewers alike. He has developed content for TV shows, international media houses e.g. Flava for BBC; TV commercials for top brand e.g. Indomie noodles and produced documentaries for numerous purposes and topics for State governments, international schools etc. Michael has directed several music videos and has written and directed short dramas aired on both TV and radio talk shows e.g. Healthwise program.

 Michael Asuelime who graduated as a Biochemist from the University of Lagos is a business man of distinction and integrity, quick to spot opportunities which he pursues meticulously with a winning strategy to deliver excellence at all times. He strives to make the best of every situation, no matter what.

Haven made his mark in theatre with plays like “Quest in Time”, “Mystery”, “Same page”, “Grey area”, “Journey of an African woman”, etc, he is well known in the industry and has worked with A- list Nollywood actors such as Yemi Blaq, Wale Ojo, Iretiola Doyle, Nse Ikpe Etim, O.C. Ukeje, Uzo Ozimkpa, Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju and many others, he has decided to take on a new challenge in fulfillment of a long time ambition which he has been grooming himself for, and in response to the yearnings of his fans who have been waiting passionately for a movie from Michael. Just as is plays contributed immensely in redefining the way theatre is done in Nigeria today, this latest adventure has also been meticulously planned to carve another niche in the movie industry with the feature film titled “ENTREAT”.
