Uzoma Oluchi Osimkpa, commonly known as Uzor is an actress, writer, show host & entrepreneur; CEO of Uzie Verse Concepts. She started her career on stage in 2000 and has featured in over 30 different stage productions within the period of 4 years before her TV debut on "Shallow Waters" in 2004.
Since her debut, she has featured in several movies like "Power must change hands", a BBC World Service Trust "Wetin dey" pilot. She has been a consistent face in MNET's productions like "Doctor's Quarters" where she played the role of Omarosa, "Edge of Paradise" and the rave-making "Tinsel". She is the Lead Act on TV sitcoms "About to Wed" & "Half Sisters" and also featured in "Flatmates". She has also featured in drama series like "Secret & Scandal", "The Maze" and "Living Large" just to mention a few.
She played the role of "Oluronbi" in "Oluronbi - The Musical" in 2010 & the role of Rubiewe, an African adaptation of Walt Disney's "Beauty & the beast" also titled Rubiewe as her most recent involvement in stage production.
She explored her adventurous side when she took part in the famous reality show ‘Gulder Ultimate Search’ where she competed with both male and female counterparts and emerged 5th.
Uzor is a total "character actor" and arguably one of best new generation Nollywood actors. The multi-talented actress also writes for "Hints", a soft sell magazine with True Tales publications. For Uzor, Stage is her first Love, make-believe & film-making is her passion!
